Dear Family & Friends,
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start! (as usual) This week has been very bittersweet. Tuesday, I had to take Sister Hulet to the mission home. That was soooo hard! I bawled all the way there, attempted to calm down, and then bawled with Sister Jenkins aka my rent-a-companion the rest of the day. Sister Jenkins and I were so emotional it was weird! Figured out the next day we both had a monthly gift #madesense….. but anyways we had an emotional breakdown on the freeway. We just wanted our “dead” companions back! We wanted some food too, so we cried about that. We both wanted Panda Express and the GPS kept pulling us to the Mall of America's Panda Express. Only problem is that we aren't allowed to go to that mall. So we cried some more. Then we stopped and prayed. The next thing we know we found a Panda Express right next to a McDonald’s!  I got my Diet Coke at Mickey D’s, because Panda is Pepsi and no one likes Pepsi! Then we went in Panda and I realized that Panda was where Sister Hulet took me after we first met!!!! I lost it totally….. bawled!!!! hahaha anyways that was fun. But, we did get to see some really great people while in Bloomington.
“Me and my fave Elders! Elder Ford who lives in Sandy and went to Jordan,
and Park Lane and Elder Esquivel. Elder Ford was Elder Esquivels District Leader,
now Elder Ford is in Lake Nokomis as the Zone
Leader for the past 2 transfers!
Yeah I’ve grown an inch but I am still short 5'4, probably!”

By Wednesday morning we had finally calmed down. It was so fun being able to go to such a big transfer meeting! I am always entertained by other missionaries, especially when we are in such a large group! Transfer meeting was so great.  I got to see a bunch of my missionary friends from past areas. I also got to see Elder Esquivel from my MTC District!! That was fun to be able to see him after such a long time. He hasn't even been transferred once!  Haha!! That as you know, is very different than me  #travelinggypsy. We got a picture together and caught up, so that was good. He helped Sister Hunt move her bags; he’s still nice like that! (remember he helped me on the bus and at the airport with the world’s largest suitcases!)

I was so relieved when I met Sister Hunt. She is from Mesa Arizona. Sister Hunt has been out 7 1/2 months so we are both pretty new at this whole thing. She really is meant to be my companion! She is such a wonderful missionary, and she is so funny! She was kind of quiet at first, but now she’s hilarious! She laughs ALL THE TIME; it’s so cute.   I love when she bears her testimony. She is the most sincere person I have ever met! I am so excited to see all the adventures we have ahead of us! Sister Hunt is so nice! Did I mention she is so funny!?!  Every morning she wakes me up by spraying an empty mustard bottle with a yellow string in it in my face!  It freaks me out every morning! We have had a lot of fun getting lost, and singing in the car. This whole “I took over the area thing” is really hard.  But I know we are doing Heavenly Fathers will no matter what :) This will be a good transfer. I just know it.

Aww, I have been reading about my little Ammon and Aaron Missionaries! They really are quite the guys with quite the names :) I highlight their names every time I see Ammon or Aaron in my scriptures!

Well can I just say there can be miracles if you believe?!? I have told you about the sisters we have been teaching. We nicknamed them “the girls”. The "girls" whose mother is very less active, came downstairs for a lesson! She expressed to us that she is “going to give us a shot at this thing”. She said she needs to get herself moving in the gospel so that her daughters will! We are so excited to teach them as a family! I know that prayers have been answered and miracles really do happen!

If you remember anything from this week, remember this:  There CAN BE MIRACLES IF YOU BELEIVE!  I hope ya'll have a great week!

Love ya'll to the Moonisota and Back!

Dear Family & Friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!  Hope ya'll had a good time together. This week has been so great! We had interviews and a “President’s” fireside!! This was definitely a week of meetings, but when we did get to proselyte; it was prime!
Bishops meeting was hilarious!  I almost died hearing a story he told about a crazy cat lady bringing her cats to church! She was on the news for having 48 cats in a one bed room apartment and she had 8 dead cats in the freezer!!!! Ewwwwwww! Weird stuff!!
The girls got both of us flowers for Valentine’s Day! It was so sweet, but guess what? The flowers froze when we walked from the house to the car!!!! Whoops!! We also enjoyed our Book of Mormon celebration party with the girls and Brother S! We loved watching Frozen!!! It was fun seeing Sister Hulet see it for the first time!!!! I absolutely love that movie; it reminds me of companion unity. Sister Hulet and I have great comp unity like Ana and Elsa at the end :). “S”, one of the girls set a baptismal date!!! She is getting baptized on March 20th which is her 22nd birthday!!! She is so excited to make this step to come closer to our Father in Heaven!!! It has been so amazing to watch her testimony grow and flourish. They are the sweetest! I am so blessed to be here in Edina #theLakeNokomisWard. It may be crazy, but it is so much fun!!!
Sister Hulet goes home on Wednesday.  Sister Hulet was the best companion a Sister could ever ask for. Sister Hunt will be my new companion on Wednesday. Sister Hulet will be missed, she totally is irreplaceable.

"Last dinner with Brittany & Tim"
You asked if we were teaching his parents. They are good people, but no.  We wish we could teach them all, but I guess they will be saved for Riley to help out.... Dad, you asked me if I have been able to drive yet. The answer is yes.  I drive our gold Toyota Camry. Its name is “Bort” aka Big Old Rollin’ Tank.  The name is from” RV” the movie.
I hope ya'll have a safe and happy week! It is so sad to hear the news from the LCW! I promise, I will keep praying for everyone.

Love you!

Dear Family & Friends,

I hope this letter finds you all well. I want you to know that you are in my prayers every day! :) Yesterday was Zone conference, it was wonderful! It really gave me a lot to ponder about. I haven't had time to look over my notes yet, but when I do, I plan to apply the things that I wrote down into my daily schedule.
"The Cassell Family"
#wonderfulfamily #Cheesecakefactory #spoiledsisters
This week is going to be amazing! I was talking to "the girls" at church on Sunday, and a couple of them expressed their desire to set a baptismal date! We then had a wonderful lesson on baptism in gospel principles; Heavenly Father truly has a marvelous plan for everyone.
We were able to spend some time with the Cassell family from Prior Lake. They were in Sister Hulet's last area. They are the most wonderful family!  They “treated” us and took us to The Cheesecake Factory!!!! #spoiledsisters ……. They really know how to make someone feel loved! It was so much fun!!!!!!

So apparently, I am the dog whisperer. Dogs that don't like to be held, particularly “Shih Tzu’s”.... will let me cuddle up to them, I think it might be Maggie Moo's  (Ashlee’s dog that recently died) way of keeping in touch with me:)

"Sister Edgington's Ben with Me"
This dog in the picture is Sister Edgington's. Sister Edgington is from Brazil. She served a mission there too! She is so great! She is a great cook! I kept saying; “Bryan would be so jealous” because I was able to look through her “mish pics” from Brazil. Best of all, her house has little bits of Brazil in it! She said she would teach me how to cook a dish from Brazil so that I can cook it for Bry when I am home!

This week is so bittersweet as Sister Hulet is starting to say her goodbyes.  I have learned so much from her! She is truly a wonderful missionary; it will be so hard to let her go. She has become one of my best friends! I know that our friendship will last throughout all eternity. She has taught me how to have fun and still work hard. I am grateful for the time I have had to be able to serve with such a great example, friend, companion, and missionary! She will continue to be a great missionary when she gets home. I am so grateful for the opportunity Pres. Forbes gave me to serve with Sister Hulet. It was truly inspired to have us be companions here in Edina. I love you all, and hope ya'll have a great week and Valentine’s Day! I LOVE serving the Lord in the MMM!

Dear Family & Friends,
This week Sister Hulet and I were both sick!!!! Oh yeah, speaking of sick….. Sister Hulet has received her death packet! (her papers to go home!!) As we were in bed recovering we both were stir crazy not being able to go out and work! I love my mission! I wouldn't change it for the world. The challenges I have had are strengthening my testimony and helping me to be strong so that I can help others!
"Surprise Birthday Celebration"
As I have reflected on this past week I have truly been humbled and blessed to realize the importance of instilling a testimony of the gospel in little children. As I have been on my mission I have seen so many different families in different situations.  Please take that comment as a reason to hug your cute little grandkids a little bit tighter!  I often reflect on the picture of Christ with the little children and the scripture in Luke 18:16.  I know that my testimony started when I was in the nursery and Sunbeams. The effect that the gospel has on children affects their life and their posterity's lives forever. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go to primary and learn about my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope that whoever my future children's primary teachers are that they understand that their role is so much more than a church assignment. It is truly a call from our Father in Heaven to teach his precious children.

I love you and hope you have a happy and healthy week! Our cute Sister Azure fed us last night and bought us both earrings!!!! She is adorable!! We have been helping her prepare her primary lessons :) I wish I could send some of these kids home for you to bathe feed, love and cuddle.
Peace out, Girl Scout! Love ya Papa Bear!

 Hi All!
This week has been so wonderful! It has been full of excitement and craziness!!!! We got to see the Minnehaha falls this week, and the Minnesota “spoon”……. it was so fun!  All the missionaries in our Zone were able to provide much needed service at “Feed My Starving Children”. It was super fun!  It is an amazing organization.  We also got to do a service project taking a couple of boys out for a walk. Their names were Scooby & Scrappy. They are Pugs. I also learned how to play “pugology”!!
Temple Day!
Our most progressing investigators are "The Girls." They are sisters.  They have been reading their scriptures and saying their prayers every day! We are so proud of them for having the desire to want to know the truth for themselves.  I know that Heavenly Father truly has his hand in all things, especially His timing. I am so grateful for that.
We were able to go to the temple this week; it was so needed. I really enjoyed being away from all the craziness of the world for a little bit. The temple is truly the house of the Lord.  I am so grateful that we can go to the temple and remember the covenants that we have all made. I love going there to talk to the Lord and receive revelation. I love the temple!!! I hope that you are all happy and healthy!
