Hi family and friends!
This week seemed uneventful, but like every week on the mission, good things happened all around us. We are doing a lot of finding, which means we did a lot of looking first!

Sister Dumas, Steadman and I
have gotten so close. We are really having fun together. I spent part of the time
working in the office. I really enjoy being with the senior missionaries. They
are the best! We went to Costco for lunch which was great! We visited an elderly
woman with dementia named Delores. (She is the mother of the Keck’s in the Lake
Noko Ward) She asked us to sing for her,
so we did. Even though I am not
comfortable singing in front of people, it felt really good to sing for her. She
told us after that we should sing for everyone in the church! ha-ha She is so cute!
We went on a ton of exchanges. I
went with Hermana Hiatt because her comp was sick. Since she is a Spanish speaking sister, we
went and visited Spanish investigators. It was awesome! Amazingly enough I was able to participate. I
actually understood and spoke “Espanola” a little bit. The gift of tongues is real peeps! We taught
quite a few people!
We also saw Christy which was so
amazing. I am sooo grateful for my dear, dear friend! We had a dinner invitation
where the people told me that they were honored to have Brigham Young's granddaughter
in their home. It was so cute. They said
that they could look in my eyes and see him. That was super neat! They asked if
I could get permission to come to their ward! It was so great they were adorbs!
We taught an awesome family about "La fuerza de la juventud" values
for their kids. The Spirit was so strong,
everyone felt it! Then we went home and exchanged back :) We did a lot of finding
yesterday. We went into a home that
smelled like the Hogle Zoo……. ha-ha, anyways, we all strengthened our faith in listening
to the Spirit there. When we listen we have such awesome experiences!
Sorry to cut it off short, but
we have to go.
Love ya to the Moonisota and
back!

Scripture of the Week: Alma 5:15
“Do ye exercise faith in the redemption
of him who created you? Do you look forward with an eye of faith, and view this
mortal body raised in immortality, and this corruption raised in incorruption,
to stand before God to be judged according to the deeds which have been done in
the mortal body?”
